Welcome to Gather in My Name (GIMN), an approach to whole community
catechesis that works! Seasonal events bring together people of all ages to
learn about and share their faith. As part of the We Believe program, these
events come complete with detailed leader's guides, preparation charts,
handouts, promotional ideas, organization materials, and much more. Weekly
faith sharing (Question of the Week) includes activities, prayers, and
discussion ideas centered on the Sunday Gospel readings. These are usable
in the home and in catechetical sessions, with committees, volunteer
groups, and the parish at large. All materials are offered FREE and are
available for downloading.
In this event, participants will come to understand how the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples on Pentecost and empowered them with the mission of evangelization. Participants will learn to recognize and celebrate how, similarly to the disciples, the Holy Spirit also enables us to spread God's word within our own daily lives.
