Welcome to Gather in My Name (GIMN), an approach to whole community
catechesis that works! Seasonal events bring together people of all ages to
learn about and share their faith. As part of the We Believe program, these
events come complete with detailed leader's guides, preparation charts,
handouts, promotional ideas, organization materials, and much more. Weekly
faith sharing (Question of the Week) includes activities, prayers, and
discussion ideas centered on the Sunday Gospel readings. These are usable
in the home and in catechetical sessions, with committees, volunteer
groups, and the parish at large. All materials are offered FREE and are
available for downloading.
During Ordinary Time, the Church focuses on Jesus' life and teachings. We consider the ways that we can walk as Jesus' disciples and make each day an opportunity to deepen our love for God and for one another. This Gather In My Name event brings all generations of the parish together to explore and celebrate the ways we can experience God through the everyday, yet extraordinary, events and encounters of our lives
