Other Notes on the Weekly Planner
  1. Lesson plans correspond to the daily Lesson Plans provided in the We Believe Teacher's Guides and Catechist Guides. There is one day per lesson for the Parish editions and 5 days per lesson for the School Edition.
  2. To view the contents of a lesson plan from the Lesson Plan menu, simply click on the box. Use the scroll bars to view the full contents of the columns.
  3. You can create a custom lesson with the Weekly Planner. Simply double-click an available date on the calendar (not a No Class Day.) Input the information that you want. When finished, click the Update button to save the information.
  4. You can designate any day on the calendar as a No Class Day. Double-click on the calendar date. Then click the Make No Class Day button. You will be given the option to input the reason for the No Class Day. Just type in a brief reason and click the Enter button. The reason will appear as a label on the calendar date.
  5. You can "Unmake" a No Class Day—that is, if a day is marked as a No Class Day, you can redefine it to allow classes on that day. Double-click on the calendar date. Then click the Unmake No Class Day button.
  6. You can clear all the information in a lesson plan from a calendar date. Double-click on the calendar date. Then click the Clear button. The program will ask if you want to clear all the information form the date. To clear, click Yes. Then, make sure you click the Update button.
  7. When working in the edit screen for a calendar date, clicking Cancel always cancels any editing that has been done to the Lesson Plan. Clicking Update always causes any changes made to the Lesson Plan to take effect.
  8. You can print the reproducible activity for any given lesson. Double-click on the calendar date for which the lesson is assigned. Then click Show Activity. (You will need to have Adobe Reader installed to view the activity. If you do not have Adobe Reader installed on your computer you can download and install it for free form the Macromedia web site by clicking here.)
  9. Once you open a Lesson Activity with Adobe Reader, click the Print icon on the Adobe Reader menu to print the activity.
